This position works Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, plus alternating weekend shifts shared with the housekeeping team. Weekends entail the upkeep of the lobbies at Windsor Park Lofts, Galen Lofts, the two towers of Windsor Park Plaza, and the amenities spaces.

Your Primary Key Responsibilities:
Perform housekeeping duties in a manner that ensures our properties are kept in superior condition, ensuring our residents reside in a clean and safe environment
Clean public areas (e.g., restrooms, laundry rooms, lobbies, and corridors)
Sweep and maintain building entryways and empty garbage cans
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of household supplies on site and report to management when supplies require replenishment
Maintain an inventory of cleaning products and supplies (e.g., toilet paper, paper towels, etc.)
Implement and follow a cleaning schedule program
Report any maintenance issues to management
Assist other team members and departments when needed
Ensure WHMIS regulations are implemented and followed
Ensure local, provincial, & federal laws and regulations are being observed in the community
Execute all work safely and professionally in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation
Ensure comprehension and compliance with all Westcorp Playbook policies
Perform other duties as assigned by the Sr. Property Manager
Your Required Skills and Abilities:
High school graduate
Must have at least two years of professional housekeeping experience
Candidates with hotel experience would take preference
Must be fluent in English and have strong verbal and written skills as you will have to maintain a supply inventory for the furnished suite program and will work closely with the property and leasing managers in doing so
Excellent organizational skills
Highly responsible & reliable
Possess physical stamina and be able to manage time well
Must be personable and have a positive, energetic attitude
Must be flexible and willing to change roles or responsibilities as required
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Knowledge of WHMIS is required
References required
A security clearance will be completed upon an offer of employment
