Western Wealth Capital Management Looking for Talent Specialist (Maternity Cover) at North Vancouver, BC Full Time

This role will be supporting VP, People and Culture with full employee lifecycle duties, with a strong focus on recruitment and on-boarding. This is initially an 18 month maternity cover.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities: *

• Manage the end-to-end process for all recruitment across WWC:
• Review and support managers with creating and developing job descriptions.
• Posting roles, screening candidates, managing applications, and arranging interviews.
• Feedback to candidates from interviews.
• Offer/negotiation process.
• Managing and enhancing the on-boarding process for all new corporate hires.

• Pro-actively sourcing candidates for current and future vacancies, maintaining a pipeline for future growth.
• Update recruitment data and create data capture processes.
• Overall responsibility for ensuring a WOW On-Boarding experience for all new hires joining WWC.
• Assist with creation and implementation of HR focused and company-based policies and procedures.
• Assist Managers with termination paperwork, exit interviews and off-boarding process.
• Partner with the wider HR and leadership teams to create and deliver development programs in line with our culture & values.
• Be a champion of a culture of respect and of fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce at all levels of the organization
• As a key partner to the extended HR team, provide key inputs into the continuous improvement of HR processes and programs and influence to align the business and HR teams’ agendas

Key Skills, Knowledge & experience & Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience within the HR/recruitment function.
• Experience working with leadership and managing without authority.
• Prior experience working with HRIS and ATS’ – BambooHR currently in use.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Be capable of effectively managing multiple demands from a variety of sources.
• Takes personal initiative to improve processes and develops new approaches to tasks.
• Negotiation and influencing skills.
• Understand and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Assumes ownership and accountability for projects.
