Westfine Meats Inc. is looking for an HR Safety Manager to join our team. You will collaborate with multiple personnel to maintain and optimize the HR and Health and safety of our company between our plant operation and Farm division. The ideal candidate will be well organized, have strong attention to detail, and be a self-motivated individual that has experience dealing with multiple projects.

What You’ll Do
- Oversees the human resource database. Ensures that system records are accurately recorded and cross-checked.
- Tracks and resolves problems and checks system operations as scheduled.
- Ensures that human resources files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures.
- Completes monthly and year-end reports regarding terminations, transfers and new hires.
- Processes employment verification forms and name change packets.
- Oversees all recruitment activities
- Completes miscellaneous research, reports and memos as required.
- Assists with questions and problems courteously and promptly.
- Obtains and conveys information as needed.
What You Bring
- 3+ years experience in Human Resources
. Education in Human Resources or CPHR designation is considered an asset
- Working knowledge of Alberta Human Rights
- Must possess a high level of moral judgment for handling confidential information
- High level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, planning and prioritization skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Positive attitude towards teamwork and team building
- Highly motivated to take ownership of and continually improve processes
