Purpose:
The Loyalty Marketing Advisor is responsible for the ensuring effective advancement and consistent delivery of loyalty product messaging across all guest-facing touchpoints. This role acts as the primary point of contact for Business units seeking loyalty marketing support, balancing organizational priorities and resources. Acting as a project manager to liaise with stakeholders and channel owners from concept to final delivery. Facilitating teams working together in providing assessments, shaping recommendations, creative development and final approvals. They are responsible for the marketing and overall market positioning and performance of our loyalty product portfolio, These include (but are not limited to) the WestJet Rewards program and tiers, member offers, lounges and airline partnerships.

Description:
Develop and execute marketing campaigns and communication plans to support new and existing loyalty products, as well as other identified go-to-market company initiatives
Develop and deliver agency briefings, including providing key messages, channel mix, communication vehicles, and creative direction. Ensure key messages and tactics align to achieve campaign objectives and maintain brand consistency
Primary contact with advertising agency to develop project concepts, provide direction on creative and copy, ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget
Set campaign objectives and metrics of success. Ensure key messages and tactics align to both achieve campaign objectives and maintain brand consistency
Responsible for optimization of budget allocation, media mix and key messaging tactics
Manage campaign financials (both media and creative), estimate development, monthly forecasting, PO establishment and invoice payments
Responsible for building go-to-market plan for campaigns and initiatives
Act as internal project lead for specified campaigns, ensuring effective facilitation of budgets, deadlines, task coordination and internal communication. Lead internal teams on campaign execution, including communication of roles and responsibilities, weekly status meetings and status reports to leader(s)
Responsible for ensuring internal awareness of initiatives; may include front line roll out presentations and communications
Monitor, measure, report and communicate on the success of initiatives and campaigns, discuss past results and make recommendations for future initiatives. Completion of campaign post mortem including delivery to leadership, partners and internal stakeholders
Coordinate with cross-functional internal marketing groups to ensure brand and messaging alignment for all communications projects and strategies
Ensure a consistent image and voice or tone is used for all in-market communications
Build relationships and work effectively with external partners.
Qualifications:
Degree in marketing or communications, or equivalent experience (5+ years) in marketing and/or advertising
Experience planning and executing large scale campaigns across multiple mediums including TV broadcast, experiential, social, digital and out of home is essential
Strong understanding of and experience in working within the current media landscape
Ability to simultaneously manage all aspects of multiple projects while consistently meeting strategic objectives; keep deadlines and tight budgets; highly organized and detail oriented; provide clear internal/external communication; follow through on tasks; and collect and provide measurable results
Ability to project manage campaigns from conceptualization to implementation with flawless execution
Solid understanding and experience in managing external agencies (creative and media), partners and vendors
Excellent communication skills and relationship management skills, with the ability to bridge communication between Marketing and internal/external stakeholders
Team player with high standard of initiative and strong work ethic
Experience in the hospitality, travel and/or aviation industry an asset
Previous project management experience an asset
