Westlake Pipe and Fittings Looking for Sales Analyst I at Woodbridge, ON Full Time

SUMMARY

Analyst- Sales role is to support the Manager – Sales Analysis working on customer incentives, accruals and rebate analysis including program profitability and overall database management and related KPIs for the business. Drive meaningful analysis specific to sales through the business intelligence tool.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Calculate, analyze and consolidate rebate payment and commissions: monthly, quarterly and annually
• Charge back affiliate companies for rebate expenses, co-op advertising allowances and other incentives
• Respond to customers, managers, sales reps with Ad hoc reports & queries
• By providing timely, relevant service/financial and operational insights, continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
• Nationally support sales team and sales management team across Pipe & Fittings Solutions
• Work closely with accounting department to answer auditing and accrual questions regarding rebates
• Prepare annual rebate contracts & ensure all authorized approvals obtained via DocuSign
• Review, evaluate and “fine-tune” existing and new sales reports by using JDE, BI tool, SAP and COPA
• Liaison with customers regarding their monthly/annual sales reports
• Administer and report sales commission program with sales agents
• Preparation of PowerPoint presentations for customer and corporate meeting
• Performs other duties as assigned by Senior management from time to time

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Rebate or Financial Analyst supporting a manufacturing, distribution or other industrial organization
• Expertise in Excel and ERP-hosted accounting software (e.g.: JDE, SAP, etc.) is a must.
• Possesses high analytical capability and interest. Able to translate financial outputs into operational insight (negative as well as virtuous trends) and develop a constituency for improvement amongst customers. Must have desire to partner with these same departments to maximize buy-in for change
• Must offer excellent interpersonal skills in an environment that is inherently demanding due to the need to meet strict deadlines, cope with multiple and changing priorities and generally work under pressure
• Discrete in nature, must be capable of maintaining confidentiality as it relates to highly sensitive commercial matters
• Self-reliant and entrepreneurial, able to follow through on assignments despite limited guidance/oversight
• Completed University Degree in Finance or related field or Experience
