Role Description

Wheel King Trans Haul Inc. is looking for a Driver Trainer. This is a full-time on-site role located in Acton, ON. As a Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for training new drivers, instructing on safety procedures, policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Long Haul Truck driver is required
• A certificate with AZ driver’s license endorsement or a valid trainer’s license is required
• Perform Road Test for prospect drivers And to instruct Orientation classes to new hires
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to lead and train others effectively
• Working knowledge of safety policies, regulations and procedures related to the transportation industry
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to stay on top of driver training progress and maintain detailed records
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, in a high-pressure, fast-paced transportation industry.
