Wheels and Deals PowerSports is looking for a non licensed tech to assist in the back shop.
FUNDAMENTAL OBJECTIVE:
The objective the of PowerSports tech assistant is to ensure PowerSport recreational vehicles are serviced to meet sales and customer service requirements, as well as provide mechanic and accessory work to all powersport vehicles and other duties.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY: The tech assistant is accountable to the Service Advisor and provides mechanical and technical expertise and accessory work on Kawasaki and other powersport vehicles as required to meet customer expectations. Additionally, the Technician provides yard maintenance and unit delivery.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
The Apprentice is provided direction from the Service Advisor to plan goals and relies on Kawasaki knowledge and mechanical expertise to accomplish Powersports service goals. The incumbent interacts with the Service Manager, General Manager, Service Advisor, Parts Advisor, President and other technicians.
KEY SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Participate in daily huddles
· PDI (Building crated units) as per Kawasaki guidelines
· Full Services- engines, diffs, transmission fluids changes
· Powersports accessory work- providing quality workmanship
· Other Mechanical duties as role evolves and grows
· Yard maintenance- forklift, plowing shoveling, moving trailers
· Washing power sports
· Delivering units-
· Service calls (pick up and drop off customer units)
· Proper Process of customer/internal paperwork
· Tech notes capture
· Clocking in and out arrival, departure, watching length of breaks
· Being efficient with time
· Being observant of anything that needs done
· Teamwork
· Customer oriented
· Apprentice will be relied on more than others for first services, accessory work and for P.D.I.s

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
· Able to drive a truck pulling a trailer, forward and backing up.
· Equipment Operator (fork lift)- asset
Background Check to be done- at cost to employer

Monday to Friday 7:55am to 5:05pm
