About This Role

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you as the Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting are responsible for the creation, implementation and measurement of the company’s Financial Reporting roadmap against the company’s objectives, you will be instrumental in how Wildpack Beverage Inc structures our financial future.

Your role will be to develop Wildpack accounting systems, deliver ERP implementations and partner with internal and external stakeholders in ever more effective ways. What does this mean? A day in the life: What you do

• Your purpose will be to develop and implement the Wildpack Beverage financial reporting methodologies
• You will help prepare and consolidate financial statements, build and maintain corporate Excel schedules such as options tracking, lease, debt, and other supporting schedules.
• You will thrive supporting the business with monthly, quarterly and year end close as well as assisting in all auditor needs
• By being a thought leader, a coach and mindful contributor you will develop and up-skill your team members and the company
• By creating a roadmap on ERP implementations, you will create a more efficient platform with optimized system usage
• Through collaboration and high-level accounting skills you will create and maintain exceptional standards within our accounting function
• Your work as a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting will see you continually challenge and develop Wildpack accounting processes to enable and empower others in the team to do the same
• You will build, roll-out and iterate process, systems and new software’s to drive growth and improvement
• Cash management in its various forms
• Daily reconciliation of various bank accounts
• Apply customer payments
• Discuss payments with AR
• Post all disbursements against appropriate AP or Liability
• Assist Accounting leadership with Daily/Monthly workpapers
• Prepare reconciliations to track system generated JEs
• Assist AR/AP manager as needed
• Ad-Hoc projects

Qualifications: What you know

• You’ve shown a track record of excellence over at least 3 years in a Public Accounting Audit role
• Bonus if you possess 1-2 years in the work of a Manager role or similar scope, very interested to hear from you if you are wanting to move to industry right after gaining your CPA!
• Bonus if you have made the switch to industry for at least 1 year or had similar exposure in your public accounting role
• Your success includes a strong background in ERP implementations or improvements
• During your career you have developed extensive experience in financial reporting, reconciliations such as excise tax and an in-depth knowledge M&A
• You have earned or are in the process of completing CPA or equivalent
• You have achieved a Bachelor’s Degree or possess equivalent work experience
