Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Early Childhood Educator located in Calgary, AB. The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally-appropriate activities, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment, monitoring and documenting children’s progress, and building positive relationships with families and children.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children and families
• Knowledge of early childhood development and the ability to plan and implement developmentally-appropriate activities
• Creativity skills to design and adapt activities to engage children
• Experience working with children in a group setting
• Organization skills to manage individual and group programming
• Certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Experience with emergent curriculum and play-based learning approaches
• Current first aid and CPR certification
