As an Licensed Automotive Technician, a typical day might include the following:

  • Diagnoses and repairs to shop specifications
  • Review damage reports, prepare and review repair cost estimates and plan work to be performed.
  • Diagnoses and effects repairs of transmissions, clutches, front/rear axles, differentials, brake systems, drive lines, etc.
  • Diagnoses cause of malfunction, utilizing all available resources
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
  • Follow warranty policies and procedures on all warranty work
  • Inspect repaired vehicles for proper completion of work, dimensional accuracy, and overall appearance of paint job

This position will be paid per flat rate hour, with a monthly bonus

50 – 60 weekly hours

250+ monthly hours

This position might be right for you if:

  • Must have a valid Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • A valid G class license with a clean drivers abstract
  • minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be a team player
  • Maintain records of maintenance performed, parts and supplies used
  • Excellent time management skills with attention to detail
  • A high level of motivation, energy and strong customer service skills
  • Maintains a safe work area
