Winecrush Technology Inc. Looking for Shipping/Logistics Coordinator – Okanagan at Penticton, BC Full Time

Job Location: Penticton, BC.

Winecrush Technology’s Shipping & Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating all supply chain operations including coordination of product and sample shipments, monitoring raw material movement and supplies ordering. This role will be central to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and overall customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building processes from scratch.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and build relationships with approved freight companies for all bulk shipments (local and international); negotiate rates and contracts with freight provider

• Arrange international import and export of supplies, samples and products (food); including commercial invoice, prior notice and other documents, as required

• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirement

• Develop, implement and document all logistics processes

• Prepare and review all shipping documentation for accuracy

• Address delays in transit or with customs in a timely manner

• Identify supply chain issues; source alternate suppliers to mitigate supply gaps

• Communicate shipping delays to relevant stakeholders in a professional manner

• Maintain organized records of all material movements to ensure full traceability

• Ensure inventory is organized and adequately logged through regular inventory counts

• Ensure inventory levels of raw materials, Packaging, supplies, and finished goods are satisfactory to support production

Job Skills & Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Post Secondary Education in Logistics, Transportation Management or equivalent preferred

• Previous transportation importation and exportation experience is a must

• Proficient in use of computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Capable of working well under pressure of tight shipping deadlines

• Must be personable have exceptional organizational, written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
