WISE Trust was established to give the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) and the Ontario Compensation Employees’ Union (OCEU) an equal voice in the administration of the pension plan through a jointly sponsored pension plan. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where innovative thinking is encouraged! With a focus on service-excellence, you will proactively maintain and implement our communications strategy.
As the Communications Specialist, you will uphold the WISE Trust brand and values as you craft compelling internal and external messaging and manage various communication channels. This includes, but is not limited to, driving member engagement through developing website content, newsletters, annual reports, annual pension statement inserts, and guidebooks. As an expert in communications, you will support the organization in building out clear and concise communication material and presentations, while upholding AODA and best practice standards.
Position Requirements:
Employment Type: This is a temporary maternity leave coverage position and is positioned as an approximately 12 to 15 month contract. While we are (mostly) a remote organization, this role will involve in-person attendance as required and only applicants that have reliable transportation to Toronto, Ontario will be considered at this time.
