Wittmann Battenfeld Canada Inc. Looking for Accounting Manager at Richmond Hill, ON Full Time

Established, and growing equipment manufacturer in the Plastics Industry in Richmond Hill seeks an Accounting Manager. This position has great opportunity for advancement.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

– Proven leadership and management capability

– Fast Learner with the ability to absorb information quickly and adapt to changes.

– Proficiency in various accounting software programs

– Strong written and verbal communications skills

– Driven ambitious and highly organized individual

– Thorough understanding and knowledge of professional accounting terminology, techniques theories and principles

– Attention to detail and proven ability to analyze large amounts of data independently

– Sound knowledge of management, finance and accounting principles (GAAP)

– Excellent leadership ability

Experience

– Five years of experience in a similar leadership role utilizing an integrated accounting package. Preferred minimum 3 years in last role.

– Prepare and analyze financial statements using multiple currencies

– Ability to hire, train and supervise employees

– Ability to liaise with lawyers, banks and auditors

– Ability to prepare budgets using financial forecasting concepts

– Knowledge of preparation and management of a payroll system (Workforce now of ADP preferred)

Education

– Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field (CPA, CGA, MBA or equivalent)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
