Wolfpack Construction Inc. is currently looking to expand our team with an experienced construction estimator who can play an instrumental role in estimating & tender submissions .
Previous experience working for a General Contractor is required. Experience in estimating Restaurant, Retail & other interior fit outs is a must.
Our key focus will be recruiting a candidate who possesses a strong understanding of the estimating process and can work both independently and in a collaborative setting. Formal education will be taken into account along with experience and capability.
Job Description for Construction Estimator:
- Analyze drawings and specifications.
- Great understanding of construction divisions
- Understand contractual terms and conditions.
- Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates and proposals in a timely manner for Stipulated Price, Design-Build and Construction/Project Management formatted projects.
- Provide clear detailed quantity take offs.
- Organize sub-contractors’ quotations, negotiate to ensure quotes meet contract documents. And review their scope to ensure nothing is missed.
- Assist the Project Team to issue proper documented purchase orders.
- Complete Budgeting for projects and track same.
- Estimate Change orders and Change directives.
- Ensure site personnel are provided with proper documentation related to project.
- Work with and deal with concerns of field personnel. – Provide and maintain unit pricing and database for material and labor costing.
- Formulate cost break down from estimates and for project progress.
