Well-established independent optometry practice of over 40 years
seeking to fill two positions for Medical Reception! We are oriented
around superior customer service, personalized eye care, and quality
products.
The ideal candidate will have experience in reception or customer
service, a willingness to learn and be able to communicate effectively
with patients. Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Greeting patients upon arrival
* Answering phones, scheduling/confirming appointments
* Making referral appointments
* Submitting claims to OHIP and private insurers
* Assisting patients with frame selection/eyeglass sales and pricing
* Placing orders for sales and inventory
* Handling/maintaining patient files
* Excellent use of technology (will be trained on Optosys software)
* Light cleaning
Scheduling is very reliable- Monday to Friday, closed on weekends and
holidays. One evening per week (Wednesday). Open regular hours the
rest of the week (9am-5pm).
