BGA Rework Operator

XeMODeX is a fast-growing Canadian company, specializing in remanufacturing of automotive electronics.

Currently, we have an opening for an experienced BGA (Ball Grid Array) rework operator. The job involves replacing or re-balling the BGA packaged micro-controllers. You will be using a state-of-the-art re-balling machine to remove, place and install the chips.

Job Responsibilities:

· Perform initial testing to verify component failure

· Remove the BGA micro-controller

· Prepare the PCB for new or re-worked chip

· Re-ball the BGA chip

· Install the BGA chip back onto the PCB

· Perform final quality test and inspection

Job requirements:

· Minimum 3 years experience in this field

· Excellent hand-eye coordination

· Excellent soldering skills

· Excellent communication skills

Remuneration will depend on experience, between $55,000 to $80,000 annually. Plus full benefits.
