Seasonal Yard Attendant

Yard Outfitters is a local landscape supply depot that has been serving the Greater Moncton Area since 2007. We are currently seeking a mature, responsible individual to work at our Irishtown location for the 2023 season.

As a seasonal yard attendant depot, the selected individual will be responsible for:

· Taking customer orders via phone calls and online requests

· Scheduling deliveries in collaboration with Berry Mills location yard attendant

· Having product knowledge to help customers make informed decisions

· Loading product into customer vehicles/delivery truck with loader (will train upon hire)

· Operating screener to make topsoil?

· Various other yard tasks

Qualifications/requirements:

· Valid class 5 driver’s license

· Customer service skills

· Attention to detail and ability to multitask

· Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus

· Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions, some long days

· Do not mind manual labour

· Own transportation to/from work

· Experience with iPad/apps is a plus

· Basic math skills (totaling orders/writing receipts)

· Saturday work required for first half of season

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

• Day shift
• Weekend availability
