Job Summary
Advise and work with leadership to manage day-to-day HR operations
Perform full-cycle recruitment activities which include posting, sourcing, prescreening, referencing and other hiring tasks
Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring manager to assess job fit
Administer tests to assess candidate qualifications
Become system expert and the go to person for web-based applicant tracking system (Zoho Recruit)
Coordinate with universities to set up student internship and post brochures at universities
Carry out HR planning, policies, and health & safety procedures
Record and compile HR documentation, handling confidential employee information
Capture and update HR processes in HR manual
Assist with terminations, the completion of exit interviews for departing employees
This is a remote role.
Requirements
A minimum of 4 years recruitment experience is required. Preference will be given to those with experience in education
Successful completion of post-secondary education required in Human Resources would be an asset
Knowledge of relevant Employment legislation including Employment Standards Act.
Superior computer skills, including experience with MS Word and Excel.
Available during regular business hours Mon-Fri for meetings and interviews.
