YRN requires a Coordinator Human Resources & Administration to be responsible for providing support in recruitment, hiring, payroll, compensation, benefits and to support accounts receivable/payable, central purchasing and organizational correspondence and communication.
They will maintain information on employee training, skills, wages, promotions and general work history. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate, up to date and complete records and supporting fundraising events.
Administratively, they will also work with the business support partner to facilitate all spending/revenue, purchasing and organizational communications.
The Coordinator Human Resources & Administration performs a range of duties as a member and in support of the management team.
Working knowledge of payroll, safety policies, training, labour relations, diversity, education, recruiting and other HR programs.
Hours of work – Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm; 35 hours per week.
Comprehensive benefits package after successful completion of 6 month probation.
Requirements
· College or University Graduation or other equivalent.
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management an asset.
· Minimum 2 years of work experience in HR required.
· Data analysis skills required.
· Basic research skills required.
· Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
· Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
· Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
· Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
· Computer literacy, including working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail.
· Ability to interpret and implement human resource policies and procedures.
