Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, the Director of Finance, Systems, and Administration is a key member of the Senior Management Team reporting directly to the Deputy Minister and provides advice, and support to the Department of Community Services. The Director is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of strategies, goals, and objectives, toward the effective delivery of financial management, information management, and systems support and development. The Director also serves as the Department of Community Services’ liaison to the Department of Finance, including the Management Board Secretariat, and external agencies such as the Auditor General.
The ideal candidate will have strong client service orientation, with a flexible, proactive approach to working with staff, colleagues, and clients; will resolve issues and problems with integrity and balanced judgement; and will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
