Are you looking for summer employment? Are you interested in Highway and Bridge construction? We are looking to hire an enthusiastic individual willing to work out of town for long periods of time on a highway construction project.

Reporting to the Regional Program Manager, this position provides services to the Transportation Engineering Branch primarily in support of construction contract management.

Essential Qualifications (what we’re looking for in your resume):

Experience with Microsoft Office software

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Suitability (what candidates will be assessed on):

Effective written and oral communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently

Ability to work out of town for long periods of time on highway construction projects

Conditions of Employment

Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence

Valid Standard First Aid within 3 months of hire

Job Requirements

Travel throughout Yukon, working in adverse weather conditions, mandatory use of personal protective equipment, working outside of headquarters area for extended periods of time, working out of remote construction camps and sites requiring ability to prepare your own meals.
