This posting is to fill one (1) four-year term position.

The Project Manager is responsible for managing and ensuring all aspects of a project are delivered effectively and successfully through project initiation, development, implementation and construction phases for transportation infrastructure and related types of projects carried out by the Transportation Division.

Essential Qualifications (what we’re looking for in your resume):

• Post-secondary education in engineering, resource management, planning, business management or a related field;
• Experience delivering projects successfully while providing excellent client service;
• Experience delivering projects with substantial regulatory compliance considerations, First Nation partnerships and collaboration, projects where regular operations must be maintained and supported throughout project execution;
• Experience collaborating, partnering and communicating effectively with Indigenous Governments with the demonstrated ability to build and maintain respectful and resilient realtionships with Indigenous Governments and communities;
• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation will be considered an asset.

Conditions of Employment

Valid Yukon class 5 driver’s licence.

Job Requirements

Travel throughout Yukon, working in adverse weather conditions, use of personal protective equipment.
