What is the opportunity?
Our mission is to help banks craft offers that improve the financial wellness of customers. This requires a re-think of how marketing teams design new offers and bring them to the market. By focusing on the needs of marketers and end-customers – their challenges and goals – we’re building a Personalized Offers platform to launch offers with speed and transparency.
Personalized Offers is a new team at Zafin. As a Software Engineer on this team, you’ll build the user experience for audience targeting, offer definition and embedded analytics. This requires systems thinking across the full-stack from UX to the API to the database. Our systems already power offers for millions of people, hence you’ll get to work on a product that has impact – and engineer a solution that needs to be highly performant and scalable.
Reporting to the SVP, Analytics, we’re looking for a Software Engineer – Frontend who is comfortable with ambiguity, has the lateral skills to go from roadmap to architecture to code and is keen to learn new technologies.
Location: Remote, anywhere in Canada.
What will you do?
Build UI components and libraries that power the Personalized Offers platform.
Design and build the UI and APIs for Personalized Offers.
Collaborate with product management and UX design teams to rapidly prototype new concepts.
Design and implement new versions that are production-grade.
Actively contribute to product roadmap, strategic direction and architecture decisions.
Work with architects and engineers across Zafin to design an interoperable product.
What do I need to succeed?
Must have:
2+ years of Software Engineering experience, preferably with consumer-facing applications.
Experience shipping a product from start to go-live.
Proficiency in JavaScript-based front-end frameworks, such as React or Vue.
Full-stack system engineering approach and architectural thinking.
Ability to empathize with the end-user and think from their perspective to build user experiences that delight.
