Full-Time, SE Calgary

Compensation: Base salary of 70k + 10-20k annual bonus potential + Health Spending Account

ABOUT THE POSITION…

The General Manager is a high-energy professional who is proactive and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically. Ideally, a qualified General Manager will have experience in the different facets critical in small business: sales, marketing, administration, operations, and human resources.

You’re a driver- you have led teams before, and you are not afraid to ‘lead from within’ and get your hands dirty to leave a customer with an exceptional experience

You have experience managing day-to-day operations including leading people, assigning and scheduling tasks, training and adhering to policy and procedures

You are detail-oriented and are competent with numbers

You like to set and hit goals both at work and personally

You are comfortable with accountability and creating accountability for others

You are energized when you are working independently as well as when you are with others

You have 5 years of experience as a General Manager, or similar role where oversaw the different facets critical in business: people leadership, customer experience, sales, and operations

People Leadership: from team member hiring and scheduling through to ongoing coaching for growth and retention

Culture: Maintaining and enhancing a culture that is fun and rewarding

Customer Relations: ensuring premium customer communications and experiences

Marketing: executing on regular campaigns in the local market
