Position Summary For Freelance L&D Quality Assurance Reviewer
Proofread and review documents, slide decks, audio scripts, e-learning and other learning and development (L&D) materials for release to staff globally at KPMG. The role requires a meticulous eye for detail; ability to learn our documentation standards and requirements; and the skill to systematically review documents to fix issues or suggest improvements.
Role Requirements
- Rigorously follow the firm’s L&D style guide.
- Apply copy editing practices and good judgment for consistency and accuracy.
- Make spelling corrections, including British to American English.
- Check grammar.
- Ensure non-native English-speakers can easily understand what they read or hear and nothing is lost in translation.
Skills And Qualifications
- Good command over English.
- Experience working as an editor and/or proof-reader.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong work ethic.
- Good time management to meet established deadlines.
- Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field.
