Zebra Technologies Looking for Advanced Cloud Software Developer at Remote Full Time

This is an opportunity to join a growing team in a dynamic new business opportunity within Zebra. The team will be working on an emerging enterprise application that implements key components for many different teams.

We are looking for an eager developer who is interested in new cloud technologies and techniques. You will be a key part of the design process and will be challenged to create and implement an architecture that is flexible enough to support multiple customers with varying needs and scalable enough to support thousands of installations. You job will span a wide range of the software lifecycle including requirements definition, cost estimation, architecture design, and of course coding.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Security Lead to understand design criteria and constraints.
• Understand basic security “best practices” and apply them to your development process
• Design and develop enterprise applications based on Google Cloud Services to drive key security processes
• Maintain and update a modular architecture that will support easy integration with new backend systems.
• Work with the DevOps teams to ensure a smooth, automated test and deployment for the application.
• Work with Cloud SaaS teams and Robotics Teams to integrate components into their systems.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification

Bachelor’s degree required

8+ of engineering experience

Strong Python experience

Knowledge of cloud deployment technologies: terraform, docker

Preferred Qualification

Master’s degree preferred

Strong Go skills preferred

Flutter an asset (U.I (User Interface) for internal tools)

Ability to ingest a vague problem, define a research plan, and execute on that plan
