ZeroTek is a rapidly growing company providing the next generation of management platform and Identity Access Management (IAM) solutions for Managed Service Providers (MSP) and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) serving small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Our software is deeply integrated with Okta and brings its advanced enterprise features to MSPs and their customers with a comprehensive multitenant service platform.
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking ambitious, attentive-to-detail, and experienced individuals to join our team and contribute to and deliver a range of customized Professional Services, Okta implementations, product support and technical training to our MSP Partners.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering ZeroTek’s Professional Services and Okta Implementations:
- Meeting with ZeroTek’s MSP Partners to scope and gather requirements for internal and/or customer Okta onboarding deployments
- Preparing professional written estimates, statements of work, and project plans, and deliver ZeroTek professional services
- Note: Typical onboarding scenarios involve Okta setup (Sign-on Policies, MFA Setup, initial groups); integration of Office 365 leveraging WS-Federation with Okta’s Lifecycle Management; installation and setup of Okta’s AD Sync Agent; and more.
- Providing ZeroTek and Okta product support, including responding to MSP support tickets for both ZeroTek and Okta and providing troubleshooting guidance through to resolution.
- Writing and maintaining internal documentation including technical support articles and guides that support Partner success.
- Creating and managing a proof-of-concept environment for testing and demonstrating configurations, use cases, and value of ZeroTek and Okta features to our MSP Partners.
- Engaging in ongoing learning about Okta’s evolving product and other ZeroTek integrations.
Other contribution opportunities for this role include:
- Delivering instructor-led live training for the ZeroTek platform and Okta integration best practices for MSPs (training material has already been developed).
- Assisting the ZeroTek Engineering team with QA/testing prior to release, and providing feedback during feature design.
Essential Qualifications:
- A combination of 5+ years of experience in customer support, technical support, system administration, or related technical roles.
- 1+ years of experience working at an MSP in a technical role
- Experience administering Office 365
- Experience with On-Premise Active Directory management (AD policies, Group Policy, Office 365 synchronization, Azure AD Connect)
- Experience and/or knowledge of how to build test environments using Microsoft VMs such as installing Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 (or 2019/2022) from scratch. Setting up test Active Directory domains.
- Experience documenting customer issues in a ticketing system.
- Excellent relationship management, customer service, and communication skills in a variety of forms (written and spoken).
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience troubleshooting and administering IAM protocols and technologies (SSO, SAML, OAuth, Federation, SCIM, etc.) such as Okta and Azure AD – ranging from setting up Single Sign-On applications to defining MFA policies and applying cyber security best practices around authentication policies, setting up “Big Bang Federation” apps such as Office 365, Google Workspace, and setting up Lifecycle Management.
- Experience integrating On-Premise Active Directory with Okta and understanding of the various methods by which user profiles can be mastered (Okta Mastered or AD Mastered).
- Experience with the following products: Intune, Duo, Jamf, Addigy, OneLogin
- Experience with MSP tools (RMM, PSA, security tools, password managers, etc.)
- Cross-platform OS knowledge (Mac OS X, IOS, and Android)
- Experience with setting up RADIUS
- Okta Workforce Identity certifications (Professional, Administrator or Consultant)
