ZIM Looking for Customer Service Representative at Toronto, ON Full Time

We are looking for Customer Service Representative to join our team at ZIM Logistics Canada!

In this role you will:

• Be a the primary customer service / operations contact with the customer.
• Be a primary operations contact with ZIM Logistics’ overseas offices & agents.
• Conduct effective and efficient handling of shipments to ensure continuous cargo flow while at the same time respecting company policies and objectives with an outstanding customer service and proactiveness.
• Communicate with Carriers regarding bookings, shipping instructions & documentation (arrival notices, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide pre-alerts to customers and/or overseas offices & agents.
• Prepare customs manifests/eManifests for imports/

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you would need:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Customer Service / Operations position in FFW/ NVOCC/ shipping.
• Proficient level in MS Office.
• Excellent control of English language (Speaking, reading and writing).
• Knowledge of Canadian Customs requirements (ACI, HS Code, Fumigation), knowledge of Incoterms.
