To maintain this high standard, we are looking for an exceptional leader to manage our jobsites.

Role Description

The Construction Supervisor is the primary Client contact for jobsites once the project is awarded. They are responsible for managing all resources (equipment, material, labour and subcontractors) to safely and efficiently deliver projects in a financially responsible way.

This is a hands-on role. In addition to leading the on-site activities, they may be the one directly performing the work either alone or alongside other employees. They should expect to get dirty and work in all conditions.

Effective communication is essential. It will involve regular communication and coordination with all stakeholders and maintenance of detailed records of activities. They will support the development of company policies and procedures.

This is a seasonal part-time role which may lead to permanent full-time. Ideally, this role will suit someone interested in growing into a Leadership role.

Must Have Qualifications

• MUST be a current resident of Simcoe County
• Five (10) years of experience in the construction industry.
• Three (3) years experience supervising construction employees.
• Three (3) years experience operating heavy equipment
• Clean driving record
• Excellent communication skills

·        Excellent organizational and time management skill

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Class D or AR Drivers Licence (or willing to obtain)
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Mechanical knowledge
• Project Management experience
