Role:
The Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) is a person who masters our business software products and effectively communicates their value to prospective customers over the phone / online presentations.
In this role the TSE will have a broad technical understanding of Finance and Accounting including Canadian Tax structures of our prospective customers needs and requirements and be able to demonstrate how the software will achieve those ends.
Responsibilities:
- Master multiple software products, specifically the finance products
- Lead customer calls, understand their requirements, and provide solutions to their business needs.
- Demonstrate a product’s capabilities to prospective customers.
- Respond to support questions via email, chat and phone.
- Work closely with the sales team and collaborate with multiple teams across the organization.
Skills:
- Good understanding of finance and accounting software and ability to learn new products quickly – we currently have more than 45 products.
- Ability to articulate the value of finance and accounting software to prospective customers over the phone and through demonstrations.
- Adept at listening to and interpreting a customer’s business needs and suggesting the appropriate product solutions.
- Able to respond quickly and efficiently to a variety of technical questions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both official languages.
- Technologically savvy and passionate about technology and solving real-world business challenges.
- Preferred: Experience in a phone, email, and/or web-chat based technical support or customer consulting role.
- Preferred: Understanding of standard business applications software (CRM, Accounting, Help Desk, Analytics, Project Management etc)
Compensation and Terms:
- This is initially a contract-based position. Successful applicants will be offered a six-month contract, after which they may qualify for full-time positions.
- Hourly compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
- Contractors are not offered benefits. Those who transition to full-time positions will be offered a full suite of generous benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, RRSP matching contributions.

Pay: $57,801.00-$64,560.00 per year
