Position: General Helper

Location: Burlington

We are looking General Labour for a Furniture warehouse. Must be punctual and reliable candidate. The

candidate must be full time available. Must be self- motivated, excellent communication skills.

Skill Requirements:

• Assists with the safe, controlled start-up and operation of the line and process equipment including starting the machine, engaging the feed, observing the operation, and assisting in changeover process.
• Assists in inspecting and measuring completed pieces to verify conformity to specifications and packing into large bags or boxes as per the line requirements.
• Assists in monitoring and adjusting controls to ensure product complies with production standards.
• Assists in maintaining equipment through cleaning, inspecting, and informing the operator of any issues.
• Performs all work in a safety-first mentality!
• Related tasks as requested by supervisor

Experience:

Knowledge Of Tooling And Tool Maintenance (Preferred)

Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills (Preferred)

Ability to multitask and prioritize in an effective way (Preferred)

Ability To Read, Write And Speak English (Preferred)

Ability to use various measuring equipment (Preferred)

No Experience Required Training Will Be Provided.

Salary:

$18 hour

Timings: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
