Role: Design Engineer
Location: Mirabel, QC
Candidate Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace
- Minimum 5 years in primary structure design in aerospace field.
- Worked in during multiple program phases (conceptual design and detail design phase)
- Knowledge doing rework fixes, hence Non-Incorporated Engineering Order (NIEO) and EO doc
- Good knowledge of Catia V5/V6 (mechanical workbenches) related to primary structure

- Good knowledge of ENOVIA VPM / LCA
- PLMACTIONs
- Basic comprehension of aircraft system (pneumatic, hydraulic, EWIS)
- Basic knowledge of Structural Repair Manual (SRM)
Good To Have
- Knowledge of Bombardier and/or Airbus process tools
- Experience in Aviation Service Engineering (repair) is a plus.
- Has acted as designer for major portion of fuselage, empennage or systems
- Has preformed major re-designs (ex: convert passenger airplane to cargo)
- Design for manufacturing knowledge / experience.
- Knowledge of Catia V5 sheet metal workbench
- Knowledge of design or process related to composite material
- Experience as liaison or MRB engineer for primary structure is a plus.
- Certification experience with any authority (TCC, FAA, EASA or any DAR/DOD rep) on primary structure and/or systems.
- Knowledge of Customer Support Manual (CRM)
- Knowledge of Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC)
- Usage of Structural Repair Manual (SRM)
- Knowledge of A220 aircraft
