POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Sales Manager in Vancouver, this role provides full support to our sales team in meeting our goals for continued sales and growth through a variety of sales related projects.
This role assists the sales department in planning, creating, and implementing tools to support the execution sales initiatives and programs, key account, and product meetings. It is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Reporting:
Data & System Information Management
· Manage internal ERP system changes relevant to the Sales team
· Support Sales Rep onboarding & use of BI platform
· Learn and be fluent on internal ERP system to support customer set-up and information management
Sales Support and Merchandising:
· Provide tools to support sales execution of initiatives and programs including product status information, order forms, price & UPC lists, product info sheets, and communication.
· Manage all customer set-up and product forms
· Be a liaison between internal departments (Customer Service, Marketing, Purchasing, Accounting and Sales) regarding product, customers and sales representatives.
· Book travel for senior sales team.
· Supports the planning and organizing of annual sales meeting.
· Enhance sales and market insights by participating in market visits to continuously improve sales tools.
Education and Experience
· Sales, business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification and or experience
· Advanced excel skills
· Proven experience in customer service and sales
· Relevant product and industry knowledge
· 2-3 years of experience in consumer product sales and marketing
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
· Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
· Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Good knowledge and understanding of the wholesale sales model and marketing of consumer products
· Ability to develop strong working relationships with customers, sales representatives, and other colleagues in the industry
· Ability to work as a member of a team and be flexible in undertaking a variety of duties that will contribute to the success of the organization
· Ability to work with Excel at a high level of proficiency.
· Well-developed problem solving and decision-making abilities
· Self-starter
