Who are we looking for?
At Ecometrica we value people who are curious, take the initiative and are proactive in solving problems. If you don’t have all of the skills / experience mentioned below, but can demonstrate an ability to learn and develop on the job, we still want to hear from you.
A back-end developer, who is a fluent English speaker, and has the legal right to work in the UK or Canada.
We expect applicants to clearly demonstrate practical experience with:
- Building and maintaining scalable web applications
- Using and managing relational databases
- Using interpersonal and communication skills to
- understand required software behaviour
- build relationships up, down, and across the organisation with the ability to understand different perspectives, and needs.
- A good level of maturity, emotional intelligence along with excellent time and organisational skills
Your application will benefit significantly from demonstrating previous experience with using some or all of the following tools: Python, Django, AWS Cloud services, and SQL
What will you be doing?
- You will be part of a friendly and collaborative team where you will help design and build web applications
- You will mentor junior members and develop their skills.
- You will work in a relaxed and flexible working environment.
- You will manage your own time and workload.

- A salary based on experience starting at £39,000 (UK-based) or $70,000 CAD (Canada-based)
