OneCore Media, an award winning, Toronto based marketing consultancy and digital agency, is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Toronto. As an individual contributor, this role will be responsible for reaching out to prospective clients through calls, LinkedIn or lead generation across North America targeting specific industries, identifying gaps in their digital strategy and recommending marketing solutions where together we can earn brand trust by being transparent and calibrating performance. As you build your account base you will bring on Account Managers to provide you leverage as you build your team.
What you bring:
5+ years experience in selling digital advertising or digital services in a consultative sales capacity: experience working in agencies with inhouse DSP, DMP, Social, Digital Video is a strong plus.
You can navigate the digital ecosystem qualifying client’s requirements in:
Digital media (Programmatic, PPC), buying, planning, tactics, performance analytics and Marketing Automation
Digital services – seo, social, mobile, content generation, geo-fencing
Proven ability to achieve growth goals via a hunter’s drive to develop new business including leading generation and cold calling.
Sector knowledge of E-commerce, EDU, medical, finance and B2B is preferred.
Experience working brand-direct and agencies to close media business.
Your approach instills trust and establishes credibility, industry knowledge and communicates a sincere concern for the brand and the digital strategy we recommend.
You are self motivated with an entrepreneurial drive that can work in a team environment
Comfortable in building your own proposals with input from subject matter experts
Experience using a CRM (Hubspot, Pipedrive, Salesforce)
This position requires you to be mobile working from the office, your home and client sites.
IAB Digital Media Sales Certified is a plus or other Digital Media/Solutions certifications
