Our growing company is currently looking to hire an IT Specialist to join our Business Process & IT team. This position is responsible for ensuring all networks, servers, programs and office equipment are running efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives concurrently, support staff with their technology requirements and is interested in growing personally and professionally with us.
Responsibilities:
As our IT Specialist, you will be responsible to:
Maintain networks, servers and programs to ensure functionality
Conduct routine backups and upgrades as necessary to maintain CDN Controls Ltd.’s server, networks and programs
Provide day to day technical support to office and field staff members
Troubleshoot and fix day to day office equipment issues including computers, laptops, printers and projectors
Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
Work with third party vendors when required for telephone installation and printer diagnostics, etc.
Purchase and renew software licenses
Create and maintain user accounts for Active Directory and Office 365
Maintain and protect operations through confidentiality and sever security
Support a variety of technology, programs and software requests as required
Qualifications:
Qualifications required:
Diploma or certificate in computer science, information systems or a related field.
3 or more years of related experience in an IT role.
Technical knowledge of servers, desktop and hardware software, active directory, network, IT security and office equipment.
Proficient in a Microsoft office based environment, including Microsoft office suite.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as a part of a team and independently
