Under the supervision of the Director of Care and/or designate and the day-to-day direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Licensed Practical Nurse, performs routine functions involved in the provision of holistic resident care. Duties are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Graduate from a recognized Care Aide Program.
2. Previous experience in a long term care facility preferred.
3. Food Safe Level 1 Certificate.
4. An active registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
5. All successful applicants must pass the vulnerable sector Criminal Record Check applicable to Provincial guidelines.
