As a DevSecOps Engineer you will help guide Stryker’s digital transformation across all business units. You will be part of the design, implementation, and maintenance of modern Continuous Integration and Deployment systems to build, test, deploy and secure containerized microservices in a fast-paced agile environment. We seek candidates who have proven skills in DevOps, software development, test automation, and system automation.
Your key responsibilities
As a DevSecOps Engineer in our agile global team you will get the chance to develop, secure and operate cloud-native, complex medical software applications for a wide range of different applications, including data science and robotics.
Your main area of responsibility will be to participate in the conceptual design and development of highly secure and scalable cloud-native applications and services to holistically optimize business processes.
Additionally, you will be responsible to develop and enhance our DevSecOps operations and help to perform in the entire software development life cycle of the DevSecOps tool chain.
You will be working closely with local and international interface departments such as Operations, Systems Engineering, Quality and Testing, to launch new products that further improves patient care.

It would be possible to work 80-90% from home.
What are we looking for?
You have successfully completed your studies in the field of computer science, software engineering, mathematics, electrical engineering, or other comparable fields.
You have several years of professional experience as software engineer in the field of cloud-based product development and provide strong programming skills either Python, .NetCore, Go, or similar.
You have experience with configuration management and IaC tools like Terraform, Helm, Ansible or Chef as well as in creating and configuring secure cloud environments with a strong focus on Kubernetes.
You have strong communication skills and are a self-starter that can thrive in a distributed remote work environment.
You demonstrate a high level of commitment, user & customer orientation paired with a solution-oriented and structure approach to your work.
You are fluent in English and have ideally a good knowledge of German.
