LOGISTICS MANAGER
Located in Concord, Ontario, DCL International Inc. (www.dcl-inc.com) is a well-established and fast-growing family business and is currently hiring full time for a Logistics Manager. DCL designs, manufactures and sells advanced engineering technologies worldwide to reduce emissions and to produce clean energy.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee supply chain, materials and components inbound and finished goods outbound.
- Implement continuous improvement and Global Supply Chain best practices to ensure material on time for production.
- Establish strategies to support sales development across multiple geographies to ensure on-time delivery to our worldwide customers.
- Responsible for improving service and gaining new businesses opportunities in the international trade arena.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders & processes ensuring smooth delivery & customs compliance.
- Evaluate critical purchases reducing yearly costs on new agreements under global procurement strategies, while strengthening key vendor relationships.
- Develop and reviewed internal procedures to manage shipping, packaging, reverse logistics, warehousing and distribution, all in accordance to ISO standards.
- Improve upon shipping accuracy in order to minimize shipping errors.
- Negotiate freight agreements that will lead reduction in overall exports freight costs and reduced lead-times by providing faster deliveries.
- Support order scheduling and reduce monthly shipping delays.
- Collaborate and support cross-functional teams to improve performance, review and implement critical KPIs on a monthly basis.
- Lead Operational and Strategical meetings.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of related Logistics/Supply Chain/Operations/Inventory/Distribution experience
- Background in any or all of the following: production control, materials planning, scheduling, warehousing, transportation in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience leading/coach/train a team and demonstrated ability to get results
- Experience with logistics and inventory software – ERP or MRP systems
- Highly skilled in building relationships, influencing others, leading change and developing talent.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodology; experience identifying improvement opportunities and leading teams to complete projects
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across functions and obtain necessary “buy in” from stakeholders
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize duties to meet deadlines daily with limited supervision
- Proven record of delivering results
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office Excel and Word
- Able to travel occasionally to other locations
