Job Purpose
Assist the site crew in the successful delivery of projects, through maintaining a safe and clean jobsite.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for carrying out carpentry labor, material handling, and job site cleanup as assigned by the carpenter(s) on site
- Strives to improve on carpentry skills and gain greater understanding of basic construction techniques
- Performs to the best of ability; follows directions well
- Maintains a safe and clean job site
- Participation in safety and production meetings
Requirements
- High level of motivation
- Clear, concise and respectful communication skills
- Ability to read and write
- Possess basic knowledge of carpentry and/or construction (preferred)
- Provide basic tools and PPE as per supplied list
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Neat, presentable appearance
- Respectful onsite presence
- Reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, good driving record
- Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis
- Perform a variety of construction tasks within a 44 hour work week
