Arch Staffing & Consulting Canada is teaming up with a Trucking Transportation provider in Mississauga to find their newest team member. If you have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience with freight forwarding, have strong cross-border and domestic carrier relations, let’s talk!

Worker Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Work Days & Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (TBC)
What Your Day May Look Like:
- Coordinate and negotiate with carriers and collaborate with all internal customer operating departments (logistics, production, purchasing and customer service) to create the best plan of action to effectively service customers.
- Ensure company and carrier compliance of customer product delivery policies and procedures.
- Proactively resolve issues that impact partner-carriers or our customers and share ways to optimize processes.
- Understanding of export and import documentation including commercial invoices, bill of ladings, certificates of origin and other related / required documents for cross-border shipments.
- Develop new carrier relations and maintain organized records of carriers, past and future loads, locations, price

- Fleet Manager by TransPlus
- Loadlink
- MS Excel
Who You are:
- You are a critical thinker! An expert at planning, processing, and managing all customer transactions through the coordination of both the buy side and the sell side of the transaction.
- You have strong existing carrier relations
- You are a great negotiator and can communicate effectively with all stakeholders (internal departments, customers, and partner-carriers)
- Minimum 2-3 years logistics experience in a fast-paced environment with exposure to both buying/selling side of logistics transactions
- Strong project management, people management, customer service, and analytical problem-solving skills
- You’re highly organized and ensure that all projects/transactions and interactions are executed with great competence and efficiency
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Organized, creative, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
- Ability to learn and develop quickly through personal initiative
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
