Email/SMS Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Email/SMS Marketing team at Aplo Group.

THE ROLE

As an Email/SMS Marketing Specialist your role will involve:

• Implementing email and SMS marketing strategies for e-commerce (Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce) merchants.

• Coordinating timelines with clients with respect to their campaigns, email flows, sales, product launches, etc.

• Participating in meetings with clients and team to discuss strategy and execution for email and SMS marketing.

• Leading our design and copy team to curate the necessary email and SMS content for clients (scheduling is done within Asana).

• Oversee quality assurance for any media or content going out across the email/SMS channels.

• Managing email marketing accounts using Klaviyo.

• Analyzing and reporting on email/SMS performance across the board.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• 1-3 years of previous e-commerce marketing experience.

• Prior knowledge of Klaviyo and understanding of direct-response marketing.

• Ability to work remotely within tight deadlines in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and culture.

• Highly organized and capable of balancing multiple projects and prioritizing workload.

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

• Understanding, knowledge, and interest in e-commerce, email/SMS marketing, and DTC businesses.

• Excellent understanding of copy, typography, layout, and branding.

• Previous experience working within Slack.

Preferred skills: Klaviyo training, prior knowledge of Shopify/Shopify Plus/WordPress stores, HTML/CSS basics, previous experience with SMS marketing, general understanding of social media and search ads, understanding of GA or other analytics tools.

COMPENSATION

Rate: $4,500 – 6,000 CAD/ per month

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

NOTE: This is a remote position. We are seeking an organized self-starter who can meet deadlines and delegate responsibilities in a professional and timely manner. Only qualified candidates will be considered.
