Prodigy Personnel is actively seeking a Dispatcher to assist one of our clients in Kitchener, Ontario on a night shift. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with multi-tasking, and has great customer service abilities they can utilize to ensure deliveries are made on time.
Schedule: Monday – Friday – > 12:30AM – 9:00AM
Salary: $50,000/year
** Please note – flexibiliy is required as some overtime on weekends may be required
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to driver groups for Kitchener and Whitby branches
- Maintain and process DVIRs and Drivers Daily Logs
- Complete service calls as required to allow drivers to complete the deliveries
- Backhaul coordination and adjustments
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years’ experience within Transportation Industry or similar role required
- Ability to support tight deadlines, and work effectively in stressful situations
- Previous experience supporting Dispatch and Driver Payroll preferred
- Strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Previous experience using Transportation/Logistics systems preferred
- Post secondary education in Transportation/Logistics preferred
