About the role

Job Type: Fulltime, Permanent (40 hours per week)

Location: Remote- Work from Home (Calgary or surrounding area)

Salary: $42,0000.00 to $45,000.00

Reports to: Managing Partner

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing and remittance
• Trial Balance Accounting
• Year-End Preparation
• WCB Management
• Full Cycle Accounting
• Bank and Credit Card reconciliation
• GST filling and remittance
• Tax Preparation
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

Must have

• Legally able to work in Canada
• Accounting Diploma
• Team Player, Open Minded, and always looking for efficiencies
• Bookkeeping Experience (minimum 2 years)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (Certified within 30 days of employment)
• Proven Bookkeeping Skills (minimum 2 years)
• Public Practice Experience preferred minimum 2 years
• Experience with 3rd party app integrations with QBO
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Technologically savvy

Nice to have

• Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop
• CPA Designation
• Proficiency in Dext, Hubdoc, WagePoint, Plooto, Sharefile
