Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Manager, Solution Development, Information Technology Services (IT Services), the Systems Developer (Developer), in cooperation with a project team or business unit representative, is responsible to design, develop, implement, and troubleshoot software applications that support the university’s teaching and learning and/or administrative services. The Developer has a strong understanding of computer programming languages and uses them to build robust applications based on designs and workflow diagrams. The Developer also conducts systems analysis to ensure programs run efficiently and meet new technology demands. The Developer collaborates with business analysts and systems analysts and is a key member of solution development teams who assists managers, engineers, analysts, and technical operations staff to test software, identify problems and debug programs when problems arise.
