We are looking for someone to fill a permanent, part time position at our busy Chiropractic, Physio, Massage & Naturopathic Therapy clinic located in NW Calgary. Candidate must be computer literate, fast paced, able to multitask independently, have a great positive attitude, have excellent communication skills and outstanding customer service. Office tasks include answering the phone, scheduling appointments, billing extended health companies, collecting payments from patients, filing and other basic office duties. You must be open to learning new systems to direct bill extended health companies.
The successful candidate will have a general understanding of professional services such as chiropractic, massage therapy and naturopathic. Past experience in a related working environment is an asset but not mandatory. Experience with Jane App or any medical billing software is an asset but not mandatory. Computer knowledge of Microsoft word and outlook is required.
Wage: $16/ hour to start, after 3 months there will be a review based on performance. Additional hours may be available during the holiday season or when other receptionists need vacation relief. Duties include:
- Front reception
- Billing and administration
- Scheduling and billing patients using
- answering phones
- general housekeeping around the clinic
Ideal Candidate
- Highly organized and efficient with ability to multi-task in a high volume patient environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability of function in a team environment
The position is available immediately for the right person.
Monday’s 8am – 2pm, Tuesday’s 8am – 2pm , Wednesday’s 2pm – 7:30pm,
