As part of the Member Experience Initiatives (MXI) team, the Senior Manager, Segmentation, will design the member experience across various segments and channels. They are responsible for initiatives from inception to implementation and will lead program and project activities and deliverables from end to end. Key responsibilities include strategy formulation, research and analysis, planning, implementation, and continuous improvement. The Senior Manager, Segmentation works closely with SISIP’s Advisory Experience, Operations, Business Intelligence and Marketing teams to design and deliver exceptional experiences for our Canadian Armed Forces Members and their families.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of segment strategies through the delivery of nationally scoped programs.
Research, develop and manage strategies, activities, and programs for improving member experience including but not limited to national campaigns.
Research segments, including the identification and documentation of key pain points, trends, and opportunities to optimize financial programs.
Research and develop strategies, including refining the brand strategy and unique value proposition, developing customer personas and conduct market research to increase client acquisition and to improve member retention.
Analyze data to identify customer business insights.
Collaborate with data management, reporting and analytics teams and regional sales leaders, to develop initiatives and segmentation approaches to provide greater value to clients and members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF).
Create mechanisms to review and scan demographics; levels of wealth; product and channel usage; geography; acquisition/attrition; beliefs and behaviors.
Monitor campaign results against plan objectives and ensure post analyses are completed to apply learnings to inform future decisions.
Monitor client-relevant publications, websites and communities to gain insights.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing a foundation of knowledge in production of content, including development of new content and copy-editing proposed content.
Support employee onboarding by educating new employees on program-specific content.
Develop and implement a stakeholder engagement strategy with Communities of Interest including identifying and managing partnerships within the CAF community.
Prepare, review and draft reports, briefing notes, responses to enquiries, and other correspondence, and make recommendations for action.
Develop, prepare and deliver presentations, responses to inquiries, briefing materials, financial reports, making recommendations, as required.
Authorize, monitor and record financial transactions/commitments within an approved budget.
Manage and monitor budget at the program level.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree/College Diploma or Certificate in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
7-10+ years experience in segmentation, market research, customer profile development and customer data analysis or a related field, with a focus in financial services
Experience in training or adult education an asset
