Innosphere SDG Ltd Looking for Software Engineering Manager at Remote Full Time

This is a remote position.

Innosphere is looking for a Software Engineering Manager who is looking to lead a group of smart and driven developers and SREs. The Development team is a diverse group of individuals working together to build amazing new products and services for our customers. The SRE team helps keep the infrastructure accessible, stable, and secure. Working closely with clients and operations the Software Engineering Manager wears many hats and tackles new challenges regularly.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Be the primary people leader for 10-15 technical professionals
• Conduct regular 1:1s with team members, performance reviews
• Support recruitment and workforce planning
• Develop, coach and mentor

• Act as a consultant to new clients
• Participate in Management meetings as the leader/voice of the engineering teams
• Represent Innosphere while networking and participating in events
• ​Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders on a regular basis

Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience as a People Leader
• 8+ years experience in technical role with a combination of Development and DevOps
• University Degree in Computer Science or related program and/or relevant experience
• 4+ years of experience as a Developer with a combination of the following:
• Programming languages: JavaScript/Typescript, Java, Python or C#
• Relational SQL Database, Postgres etc

• 4+ years of experience in Dev Ops with a combination of the following:
• Writing Infrastructure-and Configuration-as-Code
• AWS design and architecture
• AWS Certification
• Terraform and or AWS CloudFormation
• CI/CD pipeline systems such as Jenkins and GitLab
• Log aggregation systems such as Splunk, Datadog, or Sumo Logic

• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with clients and all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, and Deployment tools
• Desire to push themselves and learn new things

Salary: $140,000.00-$170,000.00 per year
