Physiotherapist (1.0 FTE; 1 Year Term) Closing Date: January 14th, 2023 Children’s Therapy Collective is a multidisciplinary practice offering allied health services to children and youth. Our practice is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and offers services throughout Manitoba and western Ontario. We are looking for a full-time physiotherapist to join our group of caring, skilled, and dynamic clinicians. This position requires travel to Fort Frances, Ontario (1-week in Fort Frances to 1-week remote work from home). Includes paid travel time, mileage, and meals. Accommodations provided. Responsibilities: – Provide high-quality physiotherapy services to children and youth, including assessment, intervention, training of adults and monitoring in one on one and group settings. – Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation, including chart notes, assessment reports, and progress reports. – Collaboration with staff and other clinicians to ensure the best possible service delivery to schools, children, and their families. – Design/delivery of professional development sessions for those supporting children in the communities. – Practice in a manner that meets and/or exceeds the standard set out by the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba and/or Ontario. Requirements: – Bachelor or Master of Physiotherapy degree & registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, or eligibility to become registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (cost covered for registration with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario if registered with a College of Physiotherapy in a different province). – Strong technical, computer skills. – Excellent organizational and time-management skills as well as strong team and independent working skills – Current criminal record check & child abuse registry check – Access to a reliable vehicle, class 5 driver’s license – Valid professional liability insurance Assets: Experience working with children with complex physical, cognitive, mental, behavioral, or social issues – Experience and/or education about working with Indigenous groups – Knowledge of inclusive education principles.
