Current Shift: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
(Includes 1/2 hour unpaid lunch)
10 months per year while regular classes are in session
Location : This position could be at any school in the district
Pay Rate: $24.37
End Date: June 29, 2023
This position provides direct support to Indigenous students and their teachers at various schools throughout the district. This position also liaises with the Indigenous community on behalf of schools and provides a positive role model for Indigenous students.
Applicants must have demonstrated ability to provide instructional support in a school setting with a willingness to be involved in school/department activities.
Applicants must have demonstrated strong, positive interpersonal skills with students, staff, and the community.
Applicants must be willing and able to facilitate Indigenous cultural learning opportunities for all students across the district.
Minimum requirements: secondary school graduation, direct or related experience with a preference given to applicants with post secondary training and experience related to supporting school-aged children/youth
